--- Overview ---

AStA Culture of HTW Berlin organizes a billiards event ๐ŸŽฑ for ALL interested parties (including non-students). The focus here is on meeting new people, so prior knowledge is not necessary, everyone can participate. ๐Ÿฅณ

The location is near Lichtenberg Station. Here is the Google Maps link. ๐Ÿ“Œ

Four rounds will be played, each lasting about 25 minutes. Up to four people per table will play each round. Starting from the second round, participants will be randomly mixed by one of the organizers. As soon as the time for a round is up, it will end regardless of the current score, so that the next can begin in the new configurations. If a match is close to a decision, of course, 2-3 minutes of tolerance time can be requested. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We suggest that you briefly discuss your prior experiences at the beginning of a round and divide yourselves into two as fair teams as possible. However, the goal is to have fun and not to win, so please do not take the matches too seriously. ๐Ÿ˜Š

As a rule set, we recommend this short YouTube video, but you are of course also free to play by your own rules. Therefore, briefly discuss this at the beginning of a round to avoid any misunderstandings. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Especially beginners, but generally no one, should be ashamed of their style of play and possible mistakes. Everyone was a beginner at some point and even professionals make mistakes now and then. So just laugh together when something funny happens and support each other, then it will be a great event for everyone! ๐ŸŽ‰

Afterwards, for all those who haven't had enough and also independently of participation in this billiards event, a Bar Night at the nearby Billard Lounge will take place.

Attention: As we need to confirm the number of reserved tables about 10 days in advance, there may only be a few remaining spots available after that. We recommend registering early (it's also cheaper ๐Ÿ˜‰).

--- Schedule ---

  • 18:45: Meeting time for billiards in front of the entrance downstairs (address below)
  • 18:45-19:00: Participants go up to the location using the elevator one after the other (stairs are also an option if preferred)
  • 19:00: Start with the first round
  • 21:00: End of the last round and group photo (voluntary, of course)

--- Notes on the event ---

We may take photos during the event and post them on our social media channels (see "Event Announcements"). If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let us know in advance. And please have your ticket ready. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ

--- Ordering/Payment Instructions ---

Payment can be made via bank transfer (up to 7 days before the sales deadline) and PayPal. Please follow the payment instructions during the payment process! This way, you can completely avoid PayPal fees (Note: If your account is registered in another country, this option may not be available).

After your order, you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. Do not close the page immediately after ordering and check your emails (including the spam folder), as the ticket will also be sent to you by email after payment is received. If you haven't received an email, you can use the link at the end of the order after a few days to download your ticket.

--- Cancellation/Transfer of Tickets/Non-Participation ---

Once the payment process is complete, you can still cancel up to one week before the event starts (possibly minus PayPal fees). However, the refund may take up to two weeks. You can also transfer your ticket - please provide the name and email of the new owner to us (see "Questions and Communication").

If you are unable to attend after the cancellation period and cannot transfer your ticket, please let us know as soon as possible for organizational reasons. Thank you! ๐Ÿ™
