English Comedy

--- Overview ---

AStA-Kultur at HTW Berlin is organizing an English stand-up comedy show for ALL who are interested (including non-students) on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Admission is at 6:30 pm (please have your ticket ready) and the show starts at 7:00 pm (or a few minutes later). The show is scheduled to end at around 9:15 pm. A short break is included.

The Treslounge team will provide us with drinks for the show and then invites us to end the night in the Treslounge (on the same campus).

Join us for a curated comedy open mic in English hosted by Anna Beros. International comedians serve up fresh jokes, polish gems and deliver tested gold for a stand-up show on campus.

Your host: Anna Beros
Anna’s a Kiwi born, Melbourne raised, Berlin based stand-up comedian, writer and podcaster. She’s written for Comedy Central DE, has a weekly podcast, Adults ONLY Comedy Berlin, opened the Hamburg International Comedy Festival 2021 and hosted for the Berlin New Standup Award 2022. She produces and hosts After Party Comedy, Pimp My Jokes, Punch Up Comedy, Doener Comedy, Adults ONLY Comedy Open Mics and Glory Hole Comedy. Anna turns pain into laughter and shame into solidarity. High energy, filthy, wholesome, hilarious.

--- Order/Payment Instructions ---

The ticket can be purchased further down on this page. Payment can be made by bank transfer (up to 3 working days before the sale closes) and by PayPal. Please note the payment instructions during the payment process! You can save yourself the PayPal fees completely ;-)

--- Cancellation/Transfer of Tickets ---

As soon as the payment process is complete, you can still cancel up to 2 days before the start of the event (minus PayPal fees if applicable). However, the repayment can take up to 2 weeks. The tickets are also transferable, that means you can always give the ticket to someone else. The name and e-mail address of the new ticket holder must be communicated to the organizers (see "Questions and Communication").

--- Helpers wanted ---

If you want to help preparing the event, you are very welcome (e. g. preparing the room, checking the tickets at the entrance). Helpers get free entrance of course :)

However, the links listed here for the "Party People" group is only a "Welcome" group. There you will be written to by the admin in the following days, who will introduce himself and ask you to do this with at least a few key points. Only then you will be added to the actual group of "Party People". In this way, an attempt is made to maintain a certain overview of the group members.
